Face to Face is a collaboration between two photographer friends, Ashley Selby and Chelsea Roberson. They set out to take a self portrait every week and post it on the blog every Friday. It is a symbol of their friendship across the miles and a challenge to get creative and get more comfortable in front the camera (since they are usually behind it). They do not see the photos of each other until they are posted on Friday.

If any of you were following Face to Face back in February, you’ll remember that we were able to spend a few days together when Ashley and Joel came to visit their parents in Malibu. As luck would have it, Joel and Ashley managed to make it back to the West Coast for the Thanksgiving holiday, so Chelsea drove up the coast to spend the day with them. The obvious choice was to do a collaborative Face to Face photo in honor of the occasion. As with the first collaborative Face to Face, every part of the process, from shooting to editing, was done together. We’re thankful to have spent the holiday together and are sad to part ways once again.
Also, if you’ve noticed the severe lack in posts lately, we want to apologize profusely. Due to a rough combination of travel, sickness, way too much work and some more sickness, we’ve fallen a bit behind. You’ll start to see our missing faces pop up soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
