This Paper Ship is an independent design studio (husband & wife team) based out of
Greensboro, North Carolina, that focuses mainly on wedding paper goods, wedding
+ portrait photography, graphic design, and illustration.
Partners and best friends, Joel and Ashley Selby, adore working with mostly wedding
clients because not only do they appreciate and cherish pieces for a lifetime, but each
couple brings a unique, one-of-a-kind flavor to the table. Joel and Ashley thrive in the
freshness of each invitation suite and feel challenged in their creativity daily!
When they aren't in the studio drawing, printing, and assembling, Joel works part
time in a kitchen and is going to school for culinary education, is an avid writer, and
a passionate bookworm. Ashley spends most of her time painting, baking, sewing, and dreaming of one day selling her own line of clothing. They are both huge believers in sustainable living and take great joy in urban farming.
